9 Myths About The Behavioral (Mental Health) Hospital

thekatscorner:

1. You get put in padded room

You sleep in a room, with a regular floor and walls, a bed, blankets, a pillow, and a closet

2. Everyone there is terrifying

I have been twice and I am happy to say that everyone I met was pretty cool. There was a few people that were a bit scary to be around, but no one was very bad. I loved being around everyone there, They kept a smile on my faces and I made a lot…

My biggest fear of talking to someone about my problems was going to the hospital and that was because I believed in these myths.
If you need to talk to someone, please do.

A weight has been lifted.

alliileigh:

Tonight I opened up to my mom about my trichotillomania. I’ve never talked to anyone about it before..this is something that I have kept to myself for 10 years. I started when I was 12 years old, I am now 21. I have always felt shameful & embarrassed about it…and up until recently i haven’t really wanted to be vocal about it.

I guess the main point of this post is..if you have trich & need to talk to someone..I’m here, even if you just need to vent..you can❤️

Try to realize it’s all within yourself no one else can make you change, and to see you’re only very small and life flows on within you and without you.
